A CMA Who Chose the Tank

Growing up, I watched my father build his own business from the ground up — never once settling for a job when he could build something of his own. That spirit of entrepreneurship was always around me, quietly shaping the way I thought about work and purpose.

The aquarium was my personal world. What started as a boyhood fascination with fish and water grew into a deep hobby — learning Betta genetics, water chemistry, selective breeding, and the quiet art of keeping fish genuinely thriving. I went on to qualify as a CMA, but the tanks at home never stopped calling. Eventually, friends and fellow hobbyists started asking me to source Bettas for them, and I realised: this passion could become something real.

AQUATIK was born from that conviction. We are hobbyists before sellers — every fish here has been hand-picked or home-bred, cared for personally, and sent out only when it's truly ready. No warehouse. No shortcuts. Just genuine love for the hobby, and a father's lesson that the best work is the kind you build yourself.
